Assistant Sheriff Richard Barrantes Awards Diplomas to Graduates of Explorer Class #97
The Graduation ceremony for Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Explorer Class #97 was held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Whittier High School auditorium in the city of Whittier. Assistant Sheriff Barrantes awarded diplomas to the 169 young men and women who demonstrated the dedication to complete the extensive Law Enforcement Explorer Program.
1000 Deputy Sheriffs Graduated the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Academy in the Last Two Years
After two years and 16 Sheriff’s Academy classes, the 1000th deputy sheriff graduated from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Academy on Thursday, January 26, 2017 with Class 418.
