Shooting Death Investigation, Carson (Log 112) ICE Agent Deceased
May 3, 2012: The 40-year-old victim , a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agent was sitting in the family room when he was shot with a handgun through a window.
Identity Theft Investigation Throughout Southern California (Log 111)
May 1, 2012: During the course of an eight-month-long investigation conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Commercial Crimes Bureau North Fraud Detail, it was determined the suspects were involved in a large scale check counterfeiting operation, affecting 20 different victims, who were all Santa Clarita Valley residents and businesses, and causing a loss of over $16,000.

April 29, 2012: Detectives have learned that while the victims was stopped at the intersection in his vehicle, a pedestrian approached him, produced a handgun and fired at him.

April 29, 2012: Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a man, which occurred Saturday evening, April 28, 2012, in the 1300 block of Evanwood Avenue, West Valinda.
Death Investigation, Malibu (Log 108)
April 28, 2011: Detectives have learned that the 25-year-old female was found unresponsive inside of the location by a relative. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Personnel from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Risk Management Bureau’s Traffic Services Detail, will be conducting a DUI/DL Checkpoint on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 7 PM until approximately 3 AM. The checkpoint will be conducted in the City of West Hollywood.
